March Madness' Sweet 16 will be set by the end of Sunday and we've got a pair of upsets worth betting.

The pregame narrative: Tom Izzo's March Madness record speaks for itself and we're happy to take Michigan State over No. 2 Marquette. Farleigh Dickinson made history on Friday by becoming the second No. 16 seed to win in the first round when they beat No. 1 Purdue and we're backing them again.

Here are our best March Madness Round 2 upset picks for NCAA tournament games on March 18

March Madness second-round upset picks

Best Bet: Michigan State (+132)

The Spartans clutched up against the USC Trojans on Friday and we're expecting them to keep that clinical mentality against one of the country's most hyped teams.

The Golden Eagles have one of the best offences in Division I hoops, ranking sixth in KenPom's adjusted offensive efficiency (119.6) while scoring the 15th-most points per game (79.9).

That may make this pick seem like a tall task but the Spartans have done well to limit opposing offences lately, holding their opponents to an average of 68.75 points over their past four games.

Michigan State's offence is no joke, either.

Backed by a three-headed monster backcourt of Tyson Walker, Jaden Atkins and A.J. Hoggard, we expect Sparty to fill the basket with ease. That trio combined for 35 points on Friday but it helped that senior forward Joey Hauser netted 17 of his own.

This is a veteran group that is coached up by a man who's become synonymous with March.

Key stat: Izzo is 54-23 lifetime in this tournament and has advanced to the Sweet 16 in 14 of his 28 seasons as head coach.

Quick picks

Farleigh Dickinson (+510): Let's get crazy. No 16-seed has ever advanced to the Sweet 16 but Farleigh Dickinson is in a good spot to make history.

The Knights were out-sized but not out-matched against Purdue and clamped down the Boilermakers' offence, holding them to just 35.8% shooting.

Farleigh Dickinson's matchup on Sunday won't be easy, though. FAU is on a heater having won eight straight games. But the Owls shot just 38.5% from the field on Friday and aren't too physically imposing, ranking 329th in average height.
