The Toronto Raptors take on the Orlando Magic in the In-Season Tournament on Tuesday.
The pregame narrative: The Magic (8-5) are quietly enjoying a stellar start to their season and have four wins in their past five games. The Raptors (6-7) have been inconsistent so far and are worth a fade on the road. That said, Scottie Barnes is a good bet to clear an alternate point total

Same-game parlay Raptors picks
Parlay: Magic moneyline + Under 220.5 points + Barnes over 14.5 points (+360)
Magic moneyline (-117): The Magic have strung together some solid wins lately. They just beat the high-flying Indiana Pacers, 128-116, on the road and picked up back-to-back wins over the Chicago Bulls before that.
The team can thank its elite defence for this success. Orlando is tied for the best defensive rating (106.5) in the NBA and holds its opponents to the fourth-fewest points (106.6) per game. The Magic shouldn't have much trouble containing a Raptors team which ranks 23rd in offensive rating (110.5).
Orlando won each of its home games against Toronto last season.
Other parlay picks
Under 220.5 points (-190): Points will come at a premium tonight with two of the better defences taking the floor. But it also helps that neither team can really shoot the ball. The Raptors are shooting 46.2% (22nd) from the field this season while the Magic are an even worse 45.3% (25th).
Both of these teams have cashed the under on the number in three of their past five games while Orlando is 8-4-1 on the under this season.
The under is also 4-0 in Magic home games this season.
Barnes over 14.5 points (-315): The Raptors' offence isn't good but this is a number Barnes should comfortably clear. The third-year forward averages 20.1 points per game this season on 15.9 field goal attempts.
Those are both career highs and I'm particularly encouraged by his newfound volume. Barnes has gone over this mark in 10 of 13 games this season including three of his past four.
