With Fred VanVleet signing in Houston, Pascal Siakam is just one of two players remaining from the 2019 Finals roster and rumours are circling that he, too, could be on the move.

The latest: Toronto is favoured to retain Siakam's talents but a number of other teams seem interested in bringing in the two-time all-star. That includes the Atlanta Hawks, who have recently been linked to Toronto's leading scorer in each of the last four seasons.

Here are our latest Siakam next team odds as of July 10.

Raptors (-155)

Toronto is the only team Siakam has ever known and he has made his mark, putting together one of the most decorated careers in franchise history since being drafted as a late first-round pick in 2016.

The 29-year-old is a two-time All-NBA selection and was the most improved player in the league for the 2018-19 season.

His two-way play makes him a fit for nearly any team in the league, including the Raptors, but it wouldn't be inconceivable if VanVleet's departure triggered the front office to move in another direction.

What direction Toronto intends to go in appears to be a mystery around the league, though.

The team locked up trade deadline acquisition Jakob Poeltl to a four-year deal, is rumoured to be negotiating a long-term pact with Gary Trent Jr. and brought in Dennis Schroder on a two-year deal to replace VanVleet. But speculation persists that Siakam could be shipped out.

OG Anunoby, dating back to last season, has also been in the rumour mill. Whether it's all noise or not remains to be seen, but the team will eventually look to build around 2021-22 Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes.

Moving Siakam for picks and or young talent would help expedite that transition.

Hawks (+200)

As Sportsnet's Michael Grange says, the Hawks have been linked to Siakam throughout the offseason and those talks picked backed up after VanVleet left for Houston.

The Hawks coughed up a lot to get Dejounte Murray from the Spurs last offseason and they would presumably have to do it again to land Siakam.

Atlanta advanced through the play-in tournament last season before getting bounced by the Celtics in the first round following a 41-41 regular season. While Siakam wouldn't make them a title contender, he'd certainly improve a roster that shipped out John Collins to Utah.

You could do a lot worse than a core threesome of Murray, Siakam and Trae Young.

Young is under contract for at least three more years before an early termination option kicks in. And Murray, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end, signed a four-year, $120 million extension on July 6.

Siakam, meanwhile, is a pending UFA. His contract status would likely give pause to teams that aren't in win-now mode. But that still leaves plenty of teams that would fit the bill.

That makes the field (minus Atlanta, Brooklyn and Oklahoma City) an interesting look at +700 odds.

One recent team from the field linked to Siakam, via Marc Stein, is the Pacers. Stein says the Raptors are more inclined to move Siakam than what was believed to be the case.

Grange also reports that Indiana has reached out and notes that the Magic shouldn't be counted out.
