Four teams hold odds shorter than 10-to-1 to win the WNBA Championship but Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever aren't one of them.
The latest: The Fever have gone 7-7 since dropping the first four games of the season and are a +10,000 long shot to win it all. The Las Vegas Aces are favoured to defend their title while the New York Liberty are right behind.

Best odds to win the WNBA Championship
The favourites: Las Vegas Aces (+150)
The WNBA has seen a handful of dominant runs in its relatively short history, and the Aces seem well-positioned to be next up.
After winning back-to-back WNBA titles, the Aces are favoured to secure the three-peat. Only the now-defunct Houston Comets have won three championships in a row, and that was back in the WNBA's infancy (1997-2000).
But Las Vegas is off to a shaky 8-6 start through 14 games. That is good for third place in the Western Conference and fifth league-wide as of June 25.
Guided by renowned coach Becky Hammon (a former assistant with the San Antonio Spurs), the Aces boast a rock-solid core that should start cooking sooner or later.
Two-time MVP A'ja Wilson, along with Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray are playing their fourth season together. All four were all-stars last year, and they all averaged more than 15 points per game.
Gray, who was the 2022 WNBA Finals MVP, has just returned after missing the first chunk of the season. The Aces are 2-0 when she's in the lineup.
WNBA Championship notes
- As the odds indicate, New York is expected to have the best shot at dethroning Las Vegas. Led by Sabrina Ionescu, the Liberty reached the WNBA championship last year and lost, 3-1. But New York is off to a stellar 15-3 start and is averaging the most points per game (88.1).
- Under a new head coach, Connecticut posted a third straight 25-win season before falling in the semifinals. The Sun have now made the WNBA semis or finals in five consecutive years — but they haven't yet won a title. Connecticut is 13-3 so far and has five players averaging double-digit points.
- Clark and the Fever have steadied the ship after a tough start to the season. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick is averaging 16.3 points while shooting 35.2% from deep. She's had some tough games but is heating up as Indiana has won four of its last five.
