The Pistons and Wizards are the co-favourites to score the top pick in the NBA Draft.
Both teams hold a 14% chance of winning the lottery, according to Tankathon. Detroit finished the season with the NBA's worst record (14-68) while Washington was only one game ahead (15-67).
Finishing at the bottom of the league's standings is nothing new for the Pistons. They've finished with the NBA's worst record in back-to-back seasons and have finished inside the bottom three in each of their last four seasons.
The Charlotte Hornets (13.3%), Portland Trail Blazers (13.2%) and San Antonio Spurs (10.5%) round out the top five and are the only other squads with greater than a 10% chance of securing the top pick.
Toronto had a tumultuous year. It went 25-57 during the regular season, but it will get to keep its pick as long as it remains inside the top six.
The team conditionally dealt this year's selection to the Spurs in a trade involving Jakob Poeltl. The pick goes to the Spurs if it is No. 7 or later, but it stays with the Raptors if it is No. 6 or earlier.
Toronto has a 9.0% chance of finishing with the first overall pick in the 2024 draft.
