The Champions League semi-finals are set.

The latest: Real Madrid is favoured to win a record 15th title after knocking out the reigning champions, Manchester City. It will take on Bayern Munich while Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund battle on the other side of the bracket.

The favourite: Real Madrid (+140)

Madrid's 14 European titles are double the next-closest team (AC Milan, seven) and another trophy is well within reach.

Carlo Ancelotti's squad drew Man City 3-3 at home before forcing penalties in a 1-1 draw at the Etihad.

It has only lost two games all season across all competitions — both to Atletico Madrid — and none came in the Champions League.

Top-end talents like Vincicus Jr., Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo make the team a nightmare to defend while an elite back-line has conceded the fewest goals in La Liga.

Other Champions League choices

  • Bayern Munich failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in 11 seasons but can still add a major trophy to its cabinet. The Bavarians eliminated Arsenal in the quarter-finals and Harry Kane has scored seven goals in 10 UCL games.
  • Paris Saint-German took advantage of Barcelona's carelessness by scoring four goals against the shorthanded side in leg two of the quarter-final. It won 6-4 on aggregate and has scored goals in nine straight games.
  • Dortmund erupted for four goals against Atletico Madrid to win, 5-4, on aggregate. It is 3-2-0 at home in the UCL this season.
