The Champions League semi-finals are here.

The pregame narrative: Bayern Munich hosts Real Madrid on Tuesday and I'm betting on the former to go under 1.5 goals at home. Then, PSG takes on Borussia Dortmund in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Champions League best bets

Best bet: PSG over 1.5 goals (-109)

PSG had its back against the wall heading to Barcelona for the second leg of the quarter-finals.

The Parisians were down 3-2 on aggregate and had to play in a tough road environment. But Kylian Mbappe and Co. erupted for four goals to secure a 6-4 aggregate win, punching their ticket to the semi-final.

Sure, Barca was down to 10 men after an early red card, but I can't fault PSG for capitalizing.

Mbappe scored a brace in that game and is now up to 34 goals between Ligue 1 and the Champions League this year. He will be the best player on the pitch on Wednesday and I fully expect him to take over the game.

PSG has scored two-plus goals in five straight games across all competitions. It has netted three-plus in four straight with 15 total goals in that span.

Dortmund isn't a defensive powerhouse, either. It's conceded a goal in six straight games and just allowed four goals to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Quick picks

Bayern Munich under 1.5 goals (-129): Bayern is at home but I don't expect it to shell Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti's side has conceded just 22 goals in 33 La Liga games (0.66/game) and managed to hold Manchester City to one goal during the second leg of the quarter-finals.

City did score three in the first leg but most of those were fluky. The Sky Blues generated 0.8 expected goals in that game, per FBref.

The Bavarians are in good form but I don't trust them to have a standout performance against a defence like this.

Madrid has held its opponents under this total in six of 10 Champions League games.
