The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers meet for Game 2 in the Mile High City.

The pregame narrative: Denver has won nine straight games against Los Angeles and I'm looking to ride that wave of dominance tonight. Two guards — Jamal Murray and Austin Reaves — are my picks on the prop market.

Check out the full Lakers vs. Nuggets SGP picks for Game 2 of their first-round matchup on April 22.

Lakers vs. Nuggets SGP picks

Parlay: Nuggets -3.5 + Murray over 23.5 points + Reaves over 21.5 PRA (+320)

Nuggets -3.5 (-215): The Nuggets own the Lakers, full stop.

Denver's nine-game winning streak dates back to January 2023 and includes a sweep in last year's Western Conference Finals. The Nuggets are 4-0 ATS against the Lakers this season, winning all four matchups by an average of 10.3 points.

You would think something has to give but I don't expect that to happen in Denver.

Michael Malone's squad went 33-8 at Ball Arena in the regular season with a +10.1 net rating (third-best in the NBA). The Lakers went 19-21 on the road with a -3.5 net rating (20th in the NBA).

LeBron James and Co. might avoid the sweep but I can't see them taking a game on the road.

Other parlay picks

Murray over 23.5 points (-155): I'm backing both Murray and Reaves in my NBA prop bets and want to double-dip for this same-game parlay.

Let's start with Murray.

He fell short of this line in Game 1 after scoring 22 points on 37.5% shooting. That was an uncharacteristically poor night for a guy who posted 48.1/42.5/85.3 shooting splits this season.

Murray torched L.A. in the playoffs last year to the tune of 32.5 points per game. He cleared this line in each of those games and had 30-plus points three times.

The volume is there for Murray to succeed and I'm expecting him to shoot the ball better tonight.

Reaves over 21.5 PRA (-175): Reaves only took nine shots in Game 1 but still came close to this total with a 13-4-3 performance.

The third-year guard averaged 25.7 PRA this season and had even better numbers in three regular-season games versus the Nuggets (29.3 PRA).

He cleared this total in each of those outings and also went over this number in all four Western Conference Finals games last year.

Reaves averaged 39.8 minutes per game in that series and got 37 minutes of run on Saturday night. There is no reason for those minutes to decrease.

He'll have ample opportunities to stuff the stat sheet.
