The CFL season carries over into Week 2 where there are plenty of available options to build out a parlay.
The pregame narrative: After last week's performance, I'm taking the Montreal Alouettes on the moneyline. Elsewhere, I'm backing the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to get back in form while adding the over in the Calgary Stampeders vs. BC Lions game to complete a +320 ticket.

CFL Week 2 parlay picks
Parlay: Alouettes moneyline + Blue Bombers -4.5 + Stampeders/Lions over 50.5 points (+320)
Alouettes moneyline (-250): My biggest mistake in Week 1 was overlooking how good the Als were in the 2023 playoffs. Their strong play was evident in the 2024 season opener, collecting a 27-12 win over Grey Cup favourite Blue Bombers.
Montreal's offence was strong, led by quarterback, Cody Fajardo who threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Both TDs were caught by Tyson Philpot, who had 10 receptions and 141 yards total.
The real focal point is the defence, however. The Alouettes held Zach Collaros to 20-for-33 passing and 209 yards. They also grabbed an interception.
Montreal's opponent, the Edmonton Elks, lost by eight in Week 1 at home. This week, they'll face stiffer competition and I don't see it playing out in the Elks' favour.
Other parlay picks
Blue Bombers -4.5 (-159): Week 1 did not go Winnipeg's way, but I think it can get back on track against the Ottawa Redblacks.
Ottawa is still somewhat of a mystery due to a bye in Week 1. But there's plenty to go off from last season.
In 2023, Ottawa finished last in the East with a 4-14 record (-92 point differential). The team was 3-6-0 at home and left a lot to be desired.
The Blue Bombers, meanwhile, still remain the Grey Cup favourites (+275) despite their Week 1 loss. And there's no better team to play than Ottawa to get back on track.
The skill advantage added on top of having an extra week to shake off the rust could pay dividends for the Blue Bombers.
Stampeders/Lions over 50.5 points (-110): Both these teams smashed the over on this total in Week 1.
The Lions were in a shootout with the Toronto Argonauts that ended in a 35-27 loss. The Argos were expected to feel the impact of the suspension of Chad Kelly but instead were able to slice up BC's defence.
The Lions allowed 374 yards from scrimmage, which suggests that their defence could be a weak point this season.
The Stampeders, on the other hand, won 32-24 in Week 1 behind a great offensive performance from quarterback Jake Maier but fell short of a good defensive effort.
They allowed 468 total yards and are lucky it didn't result in more points conceded. A better offence like the Lions could end more trips in the end zone, resulting in points.
