The New York Knicks can eliminate the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.

The pregame narrative: New York was oh-so-close to sending Philly home in Game 5 but some Tyrese Maxey heroics saved the day. I'm backing the Knicks on an alternate spread alongside Joel Embiid and OG Anunoby point props.

Knicks vs. 76ers SGP picks

Parlay: Knicks +7.5 + Anunoby 13.5 points + Embiid over 29.5 points (+310)

Knicks +7.5 (-230): New York had a six-point lead with a minute to go on Tuesday but couldn't close.

But that won't dissuade me from going back to the Knicks tonight. They've been the better team this series and have covered this number in eight of nine games against the Sixers this season.

New York has dominated Philadelphia on the glass.

Its 52.4% rebounding rate and 36.2% offensive rebounding rate rank fourth and second, respectively, among all postseason teams. The Knicks lead all playoff teams with 17.6 second-chance points per game.

It's really hard to blow out a team giving up looks like that. I like New York to win but will take it at +7.5 just to be safe.

Other parlay picks

Anunoby 13.5 points (-150): Anunoby has cleared this total in three straight games, scoring 17, 16 and 17 points.

He doesn't take a ton of shots but is making the most of his looks. Anunoby is shooting 52.5% from the field this series and 56.4% in the last three games.

Anunoby's minutes have also really ramped up. He played 47 minutes in Game 4 and 50 minutes in Game 5.

Tom Thibodeau loves to run his stars deep and that means Anunoby will have plenty of chances to fill the basket.

Embiid over 29.5 points (-141): Embiid has stunk the joint out this series from a shooting standpoint. He's connecting on just 43.5% of his shots and is 14-of-38 in the last two games.

Luckily for us, he's a world-class foul-baiter who can get to the line like no other – especially at home.

Embiid has had 35 free-throw attempts in two games at home and 30 combined in three games on the road. He's averaged 38.5 points at Wells Fargo Center this series and 35.7 during the regular season.

With the season on the line, I expect Embiid to flop his way to a 30-piece.
