MLB parlay picks June 18: Fade offence in Dodgers vs. Rockies matchup
The Dodgers and Rockies have gone under 12.5 runs in seven of their past 10 matchups. Photo by Ashley Landis/AP.

Tonight's MLB parlay picks include a run line, a total and a moneyline.

The pregame narrative: I'm banking a lot of runs with the Chicago White Sox, who are at home to face a pitcher they've done damage against. This three-leg ticket also includes an alt under for the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies matchup.

Check out my MLB parlay picks for June 18.

Parlay: White Sox +3.5 + Dodgers/Rockies under 12.5 runs + Royals ML (+284)

White Sox +3.5 (-250): In a parlay format, I'm okay with this amount of juice to buy 3.5 runs.

Even the dreadful White Sox are largely reliable against this number, covering in 48 of 73 games (65.8%). That includes 11 of 15 games this month.

In past years, the Houston Astros (33-39) would've been a much riskier team to fade. But they've performed well below expectation this year.

Framber Valdez starts for Houston tonight, and the team has only covered a -3.5 spread in two of his 11 starts.

Also, the current White Sox lineup is 20-for-52 (.385) against Valdez with a .558 SLG, per Baseball Savant.

Other parlay picks

Dodgers/Rockies under 12.5 runs (-182): I'm tempting fate by taking an under at Coors Field.

This is a teased-up total, mind you, so there's some extra cushion involved. At this number, the under is 22-12 in Colorado's home games this season.

Neither Walker Buehler (1-4, 4.64 ERA) nor Austin Gomber (1-4, 4.26 ERA) has been great. But neither one has been a total nightmare, either.

Nine of Gomber's 13 starts have gone under this number — including four of five at Coors.

Also, both Buehler and Gomber pitched against these respective lineups when the Dodgers and Rockies met in L.A. last month. And both of those games finished with fewer than half this run total.

Royals moneyline (-130): The Royals and Oakland A's are two teams heading in distinctly different directions.

Even with a bit of a slide recently, the Royals are nine games above .500 and firmly planted in a playoff spot.

The A's, meanwhile, have lost nine in a row and have the second-worst record in the AL.

Kansas City swept a three-game series at home against Oakland last month, winning all three games by multiple runs. I like this price to back the Royals to win again.

Alec Marsh (5-3, 3.63 ERA) is doing solid work for KC this year. So far, the Royals have won nine of his 12 starts.
