The Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls play a win-or-go-home game in tonight's play-in tournament.

The pregame narrative: Atlanta's late-season struggles have put it in an uncomfortable spot. I'm picking Chicago to win at home in tonight's high-stakes showdown. Additionally, I'm taking the under on the game total and on Trae Young's points prop.

Check out the full Hawks vs. Bulls SGP picks for their play-in tournament matchup on April 17.

Hawks vs. Bulls SGP picks

Parlay: Bulls moneyline + Under 227.5 points + Young under 23.5 points (+245)

Bulls moneyline (-150): Trusting Atlanta is very difficult considering how the team closed out the season.

The Hawks ended the year on a six-game losing streak, dropping games to lowly squads like the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets.

Funnily enough, Atlanta's last win was a 113-101 victory over Chicago.

But I'm betting on the Bulls to emerge victorious on Wednesday. They won two of three games in the season series and have a significant edge on defence.

Chicago ranks a respectable 19th in defensive efficiency (113.2) while Atlanta is a horrid 27th (116.3).

Also, this game takes place inside Chicago's United Center, which doesn't bode well for the Hawks, either. They're an abysmal 15-26 as visitors this season, losing each of their final four road games.

Other parlay picks

Under 227.5 points (-190): Atlanta's offence has the higher upside but it also draws the tougher matchup.

Chicago ranks a solid 16th in opponent points per game (113.7) and should contain the Hawks' faltering offence.

Atlanta has failed to score 115-plus points in five of their last six games.

The Bulls, meanwhile, don't boast an elite offence by any measure. They place an underwhelming 22nd in points per game (112.3) and 18th in offensive efficiency (112.4).

A Chicago win likely means a low-scoring affair.

Young under 23.5 points (-124): I don't like Young's chances of filling the bucket in a game where the under cashes and the Bulls win.

The star point guard is averaging 25.7 points per game this season, but he hasn't looked quite right since returning from a finger injury.

Young saw limited minutes in his three games back, falling short of this line in each contest while failing to hit 20 points.

He'll likely see a full workload on Wednesday but that alone won't get him to this mark against a stingy Chicago defence.

The Bulls are ceding the fourth-fewest points per game to point guards (23.0), according to Betting Pros.

Young failed to hit the over on this wager in both his meetings with Chicago this season.
