The Toronto Maple Leafs need to snap a six-game home losing streak to stay alive against the Boston Bruins.

The pregame narrative: William Nylander looked better in Game 5 and I expect him to pepper Boston's net with shots tonight. I'm also backing Max Domi to record a point.

Best Bet: Nylander over 3.5 shots (+105)

Nylander has been held pointless since returning from injury but he looked solid on Tuesday night.

And I'm not betting on him to get a point — though I would if it didn't carry -250 odds. All we need for this bet to cash is four or more shots. Nylander was tied for the Maple Leafs' lead with five shots on goal in Game 5, and he averaged 3.82 during the regular season.

The Swedish winger is averaging the second-most chances/60 (23.94) behind only Auston Matthews, per Natural Stat Trick.

And with Matthews' availability in doubt, Nylander should see an increased role at even-strength and the power play.

Toronto has been miserable on the man-advantage but Nylander is the team's greatest shooting threat if No. 34 can't suit up. Even if he was in the lineup, Nylander would get plenty of opportunities to fire the puck on the PP.

He fell under this mark in three of five games versus the Bruins this season but did have seven shots against the team back in December.

Key stat: Nylander has had 19 shot attempts in two games.

Domi to score 1+ points (-108): Joseph Woll and Matthew Knies were the heroes in Game 5 but Domi was really, really good.

The 29-year-old skated alongside Mitch Marner and Tyler Bertuzzi on the team's first line. He had three shots, an assist, and won 12 of 14 faceoffs.

That line generated a whopping 65.71% Corsi rate. Domi also played on the top power-play unit.

He's registered a point in three of four games with four total and got 18:54 of ice time on Tuesday. This is a nice price for a player who's getting Grade-A opportunities.
