The Milwaukee Bucks aim to forfend elimination yet again against the Indiana Pacers.

The pregame narrative: Milwaukee has pushed this series to Game 6 despite missing Giannis Antetokounmpo the entire time. I expect the team to keep Thursday's contest close in what should be a higher-scoring game. Thirdly, I'm backing Patrick Beverley to usurp his points prop.

Bucks vs. Pacers SGP picks

Parlay: Bucks +11.5 + Over 210.5 points + Beverley over 9.5 points (+260)

Bucks +11.5 (-190): Milwaukee is coming off an impressive, 23-point win over Indiana in Game 5 without Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

Keeping this game within 11 points — even with Giannis and Lillard both listed as doubtful — certainly seems achievable.

The Pacers lead this series, 3-2, but they've only covered this number twice.

Indiana has been a very average ATS team all season long, boasting a perfectly mediocre 15-15-1 record as a home favourite this season.

Desperation should also be a factor in this contest. The Bucks' season would end with a loss tonight and I expect those stepping up in place of Antetokounmpo and Lillard to do all they can to survive.

The Pacers are obviously live to win this game, but I'm skeptical they do so by a dozen or more.

Other parlay picks

Over 210.5 points (-167): Missing Antetokounmpo and Lillard didn't hurt Milwaukee's offence too much in Game 5.

The team recorded 115 points in its victory over Indiana. Khris Middleton (29 points) and Bobby Portis (29) both delivered and I expect both to shine again.

After all, Milwaukee's offence placed fifth in offensive efficiency this season. The Bucks also ranked fourth in points per game (119.0).

Indiana plays the perfect style of basketball for overs. It finished the regular season first in points per game (123.3), second in offensive efficiency (117.9) and 27th in points against (120.2).

The over has hit in 52.3% of Pacers games despite game totals constantly being set at astronomical numbers throughout the year.

Beverley over 9.5 points (-125): Beverley has only topped this total in two of five games during this series.

But one of those hits was Game 5 with Antetokounmpo and Lillard out. I'm liking his chances of topping that mark yet again with the duo looking doubtful for Thursday's contest.

The matchup is a major plus for Beverley, too, as the Pacers are one of the league's worst defences when it comes to defending shooting guards.

They're allowing the third-most points per game (23.58) to the position, according Betting Pros.

Lillard and Antetokounmpo's likely absences should create more looks for Beverley.
