The Miami Heat looked completely overmatched in Game 1 of their playoff series against the Boston Celtics, but they'll look to even the series tonight.

The pregame narrative: I'm not taking a side for Game 2, but I am rooting for offence. This +300 ticket features an alt over, as well as player props for Bam Adebayo and Derrick White.

Heat vs. Celtics SGP picks

Parlay: Over 199.5 points + Adebayo over 17.5 points + White over 2.5 threes (+300)

Over 199.5 points (-186): Betting an over tends to be risky business with Miami, a team that has a 57.7% unders rate this season (second in the NBA). Still, at this number, it makes sense.

Dating back to last year's playoff matchup, the Heat and Celtics have gone over this number in 10 of 11 meetings.

Excluding Boston's nightmarish shooting performance in Game 7 of last spring's Eastern Conference Finals, each of those Miami/Boston matchups finished with 207 or more total points.

The greatest risk to this bet is a deflated Heat squad going cold without its leader, Jimmy Butler. But I see room for improvement on Miami's side in Game 2.

Last time out, Miami only attempted six free throws and shot 32.4% from 3-point range. On the season, the team averages 19.0 free throw attempts and shoots 37.0% from deep.

Other parlay picks

Adebayo over 17.5 points (-139): Adebayo was excellent in Game 1, and Miami needs to feed him again tonight.

The all-star centre had 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting. He also took four of Miami's six free throws and should look to build on that volume if he can bait the Celtics in the paint.

On the season, Adebayo has cleared this total in all four meetings with Boston, averaging 23.0 PPG. Betting him to score 20 points is a plus-money play right now, and I'd consider that for a straight wager.

White over 2.5 threes (-129): This is another logical pick to pair with an alt over, and it makes even more sense when you consider White's recent output.

White closed out the regular season averaging 3.4 made threes on 40.0% shooting over his final 13 games. He hit this over in 10 of those.

Also, his recent numbers against the Heat are superb. The veteran guard went 4-for-8 from deep in the series opener and has cashed this prop in nine of 11 games versus Miami since the start of last year's ECF.
