The Stars have lost seven consecutive Game 1s dating back to the 2021-22 postseason. But they've been very good at bouncing back in Game 2.

The first game of this series proved that these squads are fairly even. Edmonton needed double overtime to take the contest and the shots were a close 38-33 in favour of the Oilers.

Bettors should expect a more desperate effort from Dallas, too. Falling behind 0-2 before hitting the road is a situation it should be aiming to avoid at all costs.
