Iga Swiatek is the best player in the women's game and she's a clear-cut favourite to win gold at the Olympics.
The latest: Swiatek is a minus-odds choice to win ahead of Paris 2024. Aryna Sabalenka's absence from the tournament is a big boost to the Polish superstar's chances, but it creates a significant opportunity for rising U.S. star Coco Gauff.

Olympic women's tennis odds notes
- Swiatek is the best player in the women's game and this tournament is at her second home at Roland Garros. She has won three consecutive French Opens and four of the last five.
- Nobody gave Swiatek a tougher time at the French Open than Osaka. The Japanese star pushed the eventual champion to three sets in the second round. She could make some noise.
- Gauff lost to Swiatek in the semifinals at the French Open but does boast a solid 12-4 record on the surface. She only has one win in 12 matches, however, against the world No. 1.
- Andreescu isn't the most experienced player on clay. She owns a 27-14 career record on the red dirt and is an even 4-4 on the surface across the last two years.
- Fernandez has really struggled on clay in her career. Her 44-37 record is her worst on any surface. The Canadian is an underwhelming 9-11 in her last 20 clay matches dating back to 2023.
