It shouldn't be a surprise that Messi tops the goalscorer odds board.
Argentina's leading man had scored 108 goals for his country and over 700 more for his clubs at all levels. He's off to a torrid start for Inter Miami in MLS, netting 14 goals in 15 appearances a year after burying 11 in 14.
Canada's defence managed to hold France to a 0-0 draw in a friendly on June 9 but it got shelled, 4-0, by the Netherlands days before that.
Argentina is -240 to score two-plus goals and Messi is more than likely to factor into the offence. He is -230 to score or give an assist. Check out his full prop markets here:

Messi was held to just four goals in Argentina's victorious 2021 Copa America run but he netted seven goals at the 2022 World Cup, including a brace in the final.

Messi is one of four Argentines who appear on the odds board before Canada's Jonathan David.
David ranks second all-time in goals scored for Canada (26) and first in goals per game (0.54). He is coming off a season where he scored 26 goals in 47 appearances for Lille in Ligue 1.

Alphonso Davies and Cyle Larin are tied at +850 odds to score. Davies plays up the wing and takes on a higher responsibility as a creator but he still has 15 goals in 47 caps.

As you can tell by David's -150 odds to not register a shot on target, offence should be hard to come by for the Reds.
