The Edmonton Oilers are back at home and looking to force a Game 7 against the Florida Panthers.
The pregame narrative: The Oilers have won two straight games and look to continue to build towards a winner-takes-all Game 7 for the Stanley Cup. I'm backing them to get it done on home ice while also expecting the trend of high-scoring games to continue.

Oilers vs. Panthers picks
Best bet: Oilers moneyline (-120)
The Oilers have flipped the script on the Panthers by winning back-to-back games comfortably.
Edmonton won Game 4, 8-1, and followed that up by fending off Florida's comeback effort in Game 5 and holding on for a 5-3 win.
I try not to make assumptions, but the Panthers appear to be on the same trajectory as last year when they ran out of steam against the Vegas Golden Knights — and ended up losing 9-3 in a clinching Game 5.
Florida plays a physical style that's difficult to maintain throughout a long postseason run.
Sergei Bobrovsky was in top form to start this series but has had two forgettable games to follow. He conceded nine goals on 39 shots against (.769 SV%).
In that same stretch, Stuart Skinner has been much more successful. He stopped 57 of 61 shots over the past two outings (.934%).
That shouldn't come as a huge surprise given how the Oilers' goalie slammed the door last round when his team had to win three straight to advance to the Cup Final.
In those high-pressure situations, Skinner allowed four total goals on 76 shots faced (.947 SV%). As much as some in the hockey world like to bash his game, the stats show the 25-year-old has shown up big when it mattered throughout the postseason.
Key stat: The Oilers are 7-3-1 at home in the playoffs.
Quick picks
Over 5.5 goals (-109): The way Edmonton's offence has been clicking, it could cover this line itself tomorrow.
The Oilers have scored eight and five goals, respectively, in Games 4 and 5 and I believe they can flex their offensive muscles again.
As mentioned before, Bobrovsky isn't playing at the same level fans saw at the start of the series.
It also helps that Edmonton's power play has finally gotten on the board after being held without a goal in the first three games. Since then, Edmonton is 3-for-11 with the man advantage.
When the Oilers are on home ice, there tends to be more scoring. The average total at Rogers Place this postseason has been 7.2 goals.
Each of the last three games in this series has gone over this mark.
