Olympic men's tennis odds notes
- Alcaraz has never competed at the Olympic Games but he's the favourite to win the tournament. The Spaniard won his first French Open earlier this year at Roland Garros and is 12-3 on clay.
- Sinner has matched Alcaraz almost stride-for-stride this year. The Italian won the Australian Open and is 11-2 on clay. He lost to Alcaraz in five sets at the French Open in the semifinals.
- Health concerns surround two Olympic veterans, Djokovic and Nadal. The former is aiming to return from meniscus surgery on his knee while the latter has sparsely played in 2024 due to injury.
- Zverev is the reigning gold medalist at the Olympic Games after securing gold at Tokyo 2020. He was the runner-up at the French Open and is a strong 16-4 on clay this year.
- The lone Canadian competing in the men's draw at the Olympics is Auger-Aliassime. He's a long-shot pick to win but does boast a respectable 12-5 record on the clay courts in 2024.
