Best Olympic women's soccer odds

The favourites: USA, Spain (+150)

The most successful team in international women's soccer looks to add to its trophy cabinet.

The winners of four World Cup titles and four Olympic gold medals have been on a dry stretch but their standards, having not won either event since the World Cup in 2019.

But the Stars and Stripes have looked legit so far, going 3-0-0 with wins over Australia and Germany.

Mallory Swanson, Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman and Jaedyn Shaw form a new-age deadly attack. The team has won 13 of 15 games in 2024 (two against Canada in penalties).

Spain is fresh off a Women's World Cup victory and is also undefeated, conceding just one goal in the group stage (the fewest in the tournament).

Alexia Putellas is debatedly the best player in the game and she's found the net twice for Spain so far.

USA takes on Japan while Spain plays Colombia in the quarters.

Canada (+1,400)

Canada has had a turbulent tournament off the pitch but has been rock solid on the field.

The Canadians were deducted six points for a drone spying scandal after their Matchday 1 victory against New Zealand. That seemed like the end of the team's title defence but Canada rallied to beat France in dramatic fashion before punching its ticket with a 1-0 win over Colombia.

The team has Vanessa Gilles to thank for that. The Châteauguay, Quebec native scored both game-winning goals.

Canada hasn't lost in regulation in 17 straight games dating back to October of 2023 and takes on Germany in the quarterfinal.
