It's a light two-game playoff slate in the NHL tonight.
The pregame narrative: The goaltending duel between Andrei Vasilevskiy and Sergei Bobrovsky has been exceptional. I'm expecting another under to cash and the Tampa Bay Lightning to down the Florida Panthers. Elsewhere, I'm taking the under between the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Islanders.

NHL best bets
Best Bet: Panthers vs. Lightning under 6 goals (-115)
Bobrovsky and Vasilevskiy are playing. That's all you need to know.
But to avoid oversimplifying, allow me to further explain why the under on this wager makes a boatload of sense.
These goaltenders are playing out of their minds, making unbelievable saves at both ends of the ice.
WHAT A SAVE BY BOBROVSKY! 🙀 pic.twitter.com/bs0F1TpkC2

I'll gladly make the claim already that the above save by Bobrovsky is the best of the entire postseason.
The Panthers puck-stopper has been fantastic lately, ceding two goals or fewer in five of his last six outings.
The same is true for Vasilevskiy. He's allowed two regulation goals or fewer in both games of this series and six of his last 10 overall.
Offensive struggles come with the territory when looking at recent matchups in the Battle of Florida. The under on this total has hit in seven of the last eight with the lone exception landing on six goals exactly.
Don't expect an offensive explosion with both goalies putting on a show.
Key stat: Florida has the highest under percentage (62.5%) in the NHL, according to Scores and Odds.
Quick picks
Lightning moneyline (-110): Tampa Bay is not out of this series by any stretch.
The Lightning have suffered a pair of one-goal losses with their latest coming in overtime. Shifting the series to Amalie Arena and gaining the advantage of last change should give the Bolts enough of an edge to tilt the game in their favour.
After all, Tampa Bay had some of the starkest home-road splits of any playoff team. It went 25-11-5 at home and just 20-18-3 on the road in the regular season.
Florida struggled to close out the year as a visitor, dropping five of its last seven.
Hurricanes vs. Islanders under 5.5 goals (-114): Carolina and New York played a thriller in Game 2.
The Islanders led 3-0 in the contest, forcing the Hurricanes out of their defensive shell and into attack mode. They responded by scoring five unanswered goals in a 5-3 victory.
Don't expect the same level of offence in Game 3. Both teams want to win with defence I'm skeptical of either taking a large lead.
The under on this total has cashed in nine of New York's last 14 outings while Carolina enters this contest as the fifth-best under team (58.3%) in the NHL.
