Canada and France both aim to stay undefeated in a Group A clash at the 2024 Paris Summer Games.
The pregame narrative: Despite being involved in an ongoing controversy, Canada squeaked by New Zealand with a 2-1 win while France took care of business against Colombia, 3-2. In their meeting on Sunday, I am backing the over on 2.5 goals as my best bet.

Best bet: Over 2.5 goals (-129)
Canada is a big underdog against France and now has almost no chance of advancing past the group stage at these Summer Games.
That's because the team was issued a six-point deduction as a result of spying on New Zealand's training session.
Other notable news: head coach Bev Priestman, assistants Joseph Lombardi and Jasmine Mander all received a one-year ban from all soccer-related activity. The organization will also be fined $313,000.
It is a heavy but deserved punishment. All the team can do now is try and win the next two games and hope for a miracle.
It will be hard against France who ranks as the second-top nation by FIFA coming into the Olympics.
I am not counting Canada out, especially at such wide odds, but I do expect there to be a few goals in the 90 minutes.
In its opening match, France covered this line itself. The offence scored three goals before conceding two to Colombia in the second half.
Canada went down 1-0 early but clawed back and won 2-1 against New Zealand.
It's also worth noting that five of six of the women's soccer matches completed at this tournament have had over 2.5 goals.
Key stat: Canada and France both went over this mark in their opening matches.
