Canada vs. Australia preview
Canada scored a win over Greece to open the Olympics, but it didn't come easy.
Despite leading from start to finish, the game featured many tense moments. Canada only led by four points with five minutes to go in the contest as Giannis Antetokounmpo helped spearhead a competitive performance from Greece.
The Greek totalled 34 points in the losing effort.
But Canada's best were just that in the 86-79 victory. RJ Barrett led the team with 23 points while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 21 points and dished seven assists.
Neither player can afford to have a bad game against a very stout Australian side.
Australia turned some heads with a 92-80 win over a very competitive Spain team. Chicago Bulls star Josh Giddey filled the stat sheet in the win, recording 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
The Phoenix Suns' Jock Landale led Australia with 20 points while the Miami Heat's Patty Mills wasn't far behind with 19.
The Aussie's may not have someone like Antetokounmpo, but they have a deeper roster which presents a new challenge for Canada.
