The winner of Tuesday's Canada vs. France game will get to compete for a medal at Paris 2024.
The pregame narrative: The stakes are high. I'm turning to the heart and soul of Canada's team, Dillon Brooks, to clear his point total. On the other side, Victor Wembanyama is a good bet to clear his rebound prop.

Best Bet: Wembanyama over 10.5 rebounds (-118)
The only way France will win this game is through a Wembanyama masterclass ... and even then it's going to be difficult.
The 7-foot-4 phenom has unsurprisingly led Les Bleus in both points (17.0) and rebounds (10.6) per game this tournament. He's cleared this total in two of three games, finishing with nine boards in the outlying performance against Brazil.
The one knock on Canada is that it's undersized.
Canada has no 7-footers on the roster, and journeymen Dwight Powell and Kelly Olynyk play most of the minutes at centre.
Those two averaged a combined 8.7 rebounds per game in the NBA last season, which is actually higher than the 7.3 rebounds they're averaging this tournament.
Wembanyama only logged seven boards against Canada last month in a friendly but I expect a better effort this time around.
He's going to have to play well over 30 minutes if France wants to keep things close and that means there will be plenty of opportunities on the glass.
Key stat: Canada averaged the fewest rebounds per game (33) out of any team in the group stage.
Quick pick
Brooks over 12.5 points (-125): Brooks' trash talk has gotten him into trouble on the NBA court but he's done well to back it up when playing for the Red and White.
The Houston Rockets shooting guard cleared this total in all three group-stage games. He's shooting 50.0% from the floor and an incredible 60.0% from beyond the arc.
France's best two defenders — Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert — should make the paint a no-fly zone.
But Brooks is a spot-up shooter who is filling his role as the No. 3/4 option nicely. He can make it rain from beyond the arc and should get a bunch of nice looks.
