Two moneyline bets and a team total comprise today's +406 MLB parlay.
The pregame narrative: The Toronto Blue Jays are in a spiral and I'm looking to back the Boston Red Sox on the moneyline. Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Dodgers are a good bet to beat the Chicago White Sox while the San Diego Padres should hammer one of the league's worst arms.

Parlay: Red Sox moneyline + Dodgers moneyline + Padres over 4.5 runs (+406)
Red Sox moneyline (-159): Toronto's season from hell continued over the weekend as the team got swept by the Cleveland Guardians and had one of its most exciting prospects, Orelvis Martinez, suspended 80 games for PED use.
The Blue Jays have now lost six straight games and eight of their last 10. That includes a three-game sweep at the hands of the Red Sox, who are now seven games clear of Toronto in the AL East.
Tanner Houck is on the mound for the Sox and he's having a special year. The righty carried a 2.14 ERA (second-best in MLB) and 0.97 WHIP (11th-best) into tonight's contest.
Toronto hasn't announced a starter as of 10:00 a.m. ET which means it will likely be a bullpen game. That pen ranks 24th in ERA (4.49) and last in home runs allowed (47).
Other parlay picks
Dodgers moneyline (-152): Garrett Crochet has been one of the few bright spots for the White Sox this year and he's starting tonight. But I don't think it'll be enough to sink the Dodgers.
Chicago ranks last in runs per game (3.08), run differential (-164), batting average (.219), and wins (21).
Crochet has a 3.25 ERA and 0.95 WHIP but the White Sox have lost nine of his 16 starts. And most of those games weren't against teams near the same echelon as Los Angeles.
The Dodgers hit the cover off the ball and should give Crochet trouble. I can't picture the White Sox giving him enough run support for a win.
Padres over 4.5 runs (-115): How Patrick Corbin is still pitching in the majors is a mystery, but he's a great fade candidate whenever he steps on the mound.
The veteran lefty's 5.60 ERA and 1.60 WHIP rank second-last and last among all qualified starters. He's started 15 games and Washington's opponents have scored five-plus runs in nine of those contests.
San Diego isn't the best team at hitting lefties but Corbin gives up lots of contact and power.
Corbin's .322 xBA and 48.9% hard-hit rate rank in the first and fourth percentile, respectively, per Baseball Savant.
