It's win-and-in for Canada and Chile at Copa America.
The pregame narrative: Chile needs a win to get into the quarter-finals but a draw would in all likelihood secure Canada a spot — so long as Peru doesn't upset Argentina. But I'm expecting La Roja to step up and beat a Canadian team that's looked shaky under Jesse Marsch.

Canada vs. Chile prediction
Best Bet: Chile to win (+120)
Canada snapped its goalless drought under Marsch at the perfect time.
Jonathan David finished off a beautiful pass from Jacob Shaffelburg in the 74th minute to secure its first win at a major international tournament.
But it wasn't a dominant performance by any stretch. The Canadians scored once Peru was sent down to 10 men. They also held just 51% possession and were slightly eked out on expected goals, 1.19 to 0.88, per Footy Stats.
Les Rouges did look much better in the second half but their first 45 minutes were uninspired and filled with defensive lapses. That came after a game where they allowed multiple breakaways and countless chances against Argentina.
The Lionel Messi-led side was expected to win but Canada has still only scored one goal in four matches under Marsch — and Chile will be a hard side to crack.
The Chileans lost 1-0 to Argentina and netted a 0-0 draw against Peru.
But La Roja did look solid before the tournament, picking up a pair of 3-0 wins over Paraguay and Albania. They also scored two goals against France in a 3-2 defeat.
Canada's defensive issues have been hard to mask lately. The Netherlands beat it 4-0 in a friendly before the tournament and France had four shots on target to Canada's zero in a 0-0 draw. Maxime Crepeau has been fantastic in goal but the team is playing with fire and I expect it to get burned.
Key stat: Canada has been outscored, 6-1, in its last four games.
