Canada vs. Uruguay prediction
Best Bet: Canada to win or draw (+140)
Uruguay's match with Colombia ended ugly. Multiple players on the team climbed into the stands to defend their loved ones from fans who were fighting with one another.

No matter what the reason, it would be surprising if those who did head in to clash weren't suspended for at least this match if not longer.
Among those who could be receiving a ban is star striker Darwin Nunez. That would be a huge loss for the Uruguayan side.
Canada is overmatched on paper which is reflected in its +575 odds to win in regulation. I feel much better about the squad sneaking out a draw and forcing penalties than backing Les Rouges to get it done within 90 minutes.
The boys in red and white played much better in their second match with Argentina compared to the first. A couple of mental lapses allowed the talented Argentine attack to capitalize twice.
Canada looked like it belonged with Argentina in the semifinal. The side held 49% of the possession and generated nine shots (two on target) while holding Lionel Messi and Co. to three shots on goal.
The defensive effort shown by the Canadians has been encouraging. In games against countries not named Argentina, they have conceded just one goal in three games.
There's also the factor of who wants it more. Uruguay will see a bronze medal as a disappointment and that could affect its motivation to win.
Canada, on the other hand, is playing with house money and will come out with the mindset that third place at a major international tournament is a success.
If Les Rouges can continue to limit opposing offences, I could see them holding off Uruguay. Forcing the game to penalties or even sneaking out a win in regulation would cash this line.
Key stat: Canada has won or drawn against every team faced at Copa America besides Argentina.
