I'm targeting hot streaks on the team and player level for Tuesday's MLB parlay picks.
The pregame narrative: As a team, the Minnesota Twins are smashing the cover off the baseball right now and I think they're a good pick to do some early damage on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks. I'm also targeting Hunter Brown, who should stake the Houston Astros to an early lead at home.
Check out my MLB parlay picks for June 25.

Parlay: Astros -0.5 - first five innings + Angels moneyline + Twins to score first (+355)
Astros -0.5 - first five innings (-180): At this very early juncture of his career, Brown's prospect pedigree has outshone his actual production. But things are starting to shift.
After getting torched throughout April, the 25-year-old righty has found his groove. He has a 2.45 ERA over his past nine outings, holding opponents to a .622 OPS in that span.
Tonight, he'll face a Rockies squad that has a rough 29-39-10 record on the F5 moneyline, according to ATS.io.
Houston has won five games in a row and is 5-1-1 on the F5 moneyline in Brown's past seven starts. I think he can keep his team in the driver's seat at the halfway mark.
Other parlay picks
Angels moneyline (-129): Mitch Spence has consistently given the Oakland Athletics a chance to win. Unfortunately, when you pitch for the A's, that's often not good enough.
Since joining the rotation, Spence has a 3.58 ERA in seven starts. Oakland is 1-6 in those games.
Even if Spence spins another solid outing again tonight, I don't think it'll matter. The Los Angeles Angels turn to lefty Tyler Anderson, who has a 2.00 ERA and a .665 opponent OPS over his past seven starts.
Anderson has held the current A's lineup to a .133 BA and a .167 SLG, per Baseball Savant.
L.A. is 6-1 in its past seven home matchups against Oakland.
Twins to score first (-157): If you know how hot the Twins' offence is right now, this pick will make perfect sense.
Over the past two weeks, the Twins have five players inside MLB's top 30 in terms of wRC+. Carlos Santana, Royce Lewis and Carlos Correa are leading the charge on that front.
Minnesota has a .942 OPS in that two-week span. For context, a .942 OPS is better than the season-long marks of Mookie Betts, Rafael Devers, Freddie Freeman and many more superstars.
As the road team, Minnesota will have the first crack at getting on the board. And even if the Twins can't strike in the opening frame, Minnesota starter Joe Ryan (5-5, 3.13 ERA) should be able to keep the Diamondbacks quiet for at least a bit.
Picks made at 1:10 p.m. on 06/25/24.
