Bianca Andreescu and Jasmine Paolini face in the third round at Wimbledon.
The pregame narrative: Paolini defeated the Canadian in June but that match was contested on clay which is much different than the grass surface they'll be playing on this time. I'm expecting Andreescu to get the result back with a win in the third round of Wimbledon on Friday.

Andreescu vs. Paolini Wimbledon odds
Best bet: Andreescu to win (+110)
Neither of these ladies has had any resistance at Wimbledon so far as both have yet to drop a set.
Andreescu and Paolini met at the French Open in June where the latter won out in three sets (6-1, 3-6, 6-0). But there's reason to believe the playing surface was the main contributor to that result.
Additionally, the further the Canadian is removed from her nagging injuries, the more healthy she looks and the better she plays.
Andreescu is 8-3 in 2024 (6-2 on grass). It is a playing surface she has a lot of success on in her career.
In contrast, her counterpart has her worst record on grass (10-14) while playing her best on clay (211-113).
On top of the overall record, take a look at the difference in quantity.
Paolini has played so few matches compared to the rest of the surfaces that there is an experience advantage on grass for the Canadian despite being four years younger.
It won't be an easy task but betting on a healthy Andreescu provides good value at plus-money, especially on grass.
She peaked at fourth in the WTA Rankings back in 2019 and I think she can start a run that gets her away from her current 176-ranked spot and back into the mix at the top of the women's tennis rankings.
That journey could start with a win over the seventh-ranked player in the world on Friday.
Key stat: Andreescu is 28-17 on grass in her career.
