Auger-Aliassime has put his Wimbledon disaster firmly behind him.

The Canadian let a two-set lead slip away at the All England Club but has had a fantastic Olympics so far.

In addition to facing Alcaraz in the men's semifinal, he and Gabriela Dabrowski will be competing for the bronze medal in mixed doubles.

FAA has gone through some of the world's best en route to his match with Alcaraz, beating ATP No. 5-ranked Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the third round.

The Russian is a great player but Alcaraz represents a severe step up in class.

The young Spaniard may be ranked No. 3 but he's pretty clearly the best player in the world.

He just won his second Wimbledon title at 21 years old and also won this year's French Open at Roland Garros.

Alcaraz has also been nearly flawless on this surface with a 16-3 clay record.

Auger-Aliassime won his first three meetings against the Spaniard but Alcaraz has won each of the last three — all in straight sets.

That includes a quarterfinal win at the French Open which Alcaraz won 6-3, 6-3, 6-1.
